Sharron
Kay (Paustian)
Hill passed away on April 14, 2005, at her home in Meridian. Sharron had
been battling fibro muscular dysplasia,
a vascular disease, for the last four years. She was 58 years young.
Funeral
service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, at Cloverdale Funeral
Home. Burial will follow in Cloverdale Memorial Park, under the direction
Cloverdale Funeral Home.
She was
born on Aug. 7, 1946, in Kansas City, Mo., to JC and Evelyn Paustian. In
1957, the family moved to Boise from their farm in Richmond, Mo. Sharron
graduated from Meridian High School in 1964. She then attended beauty college
and was employed as a beautician for many years.
She was
married to Don LaFavour until his death in 1991. She spent most of her
life enjoying her love of horses. Sharron's father, JC, raced for many
years at Les Bois Park. She suffered a stroke in 2001. Sharron spent her
last few years helping to take care of her mother, Evelyn and being the
best friend of her daughters and family who she loved very much. She will
be missed immensely. "We love you Sharron and tell Dad hello."
Survivors
include two daughters and sons-in-law, Jocee and Steve Vreeland of Eagle
and Autumn and Russ Pierce of Meridian; two grandsons, Cody and Garrett
Vreeland; a granddaughter, Aiyanna Kay Pierce, to be born in June 2005;
her mother, Evelyn Paustian of Meridian; brother and sister-in-law, John
and Cindy Paustian of Boise; sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Jerry
Schwisow of Meridian; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Dale Tuma of
Tigard, Ore.; Uncle Russ and Aunt Fern Paustian of Boise; Uncle Harlan
and Aunt Betty Jo Bowser of Birmingham, Kan.; numerous cousins, nephews,
nieces and friends.
Sharron
was preceded in death by her husband, Don LaFavour; her father, JC Paustian
and her brother, Jerry Cecil Paustian. |
